A handful of Steelers legends have snubbed former President Donald Trump after the 78-year-old announced he would be attending Pittsburgh’s Sunday Night Football matchup against Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets.
With the 2024 Presidential Election just weeks away, Trump and Kamala Harris have both ramped up their efforts to garner votes ahead of November 5. Before attending the game at Acrisure Stadium in Pennsylvania, Trump held a rally in hopes of getting the swing state in his favor.
As Trump continues to do what he can to get the general population to vote for him in November, many Steelers greats have announced their support for Harris. In statements released before Trump’s Acrisure Stadium visit, Jerome Bettis, “Mean” Joe Greene and the family of Franco Harris revealed they were snubbing the Republican in the election.
