On Sunday afternoon, social media was abuzz with reports claiming that a person named Charleston White had been shot. A Chicago Police Department dispatch call revealed that an officer received a call from someone identifying as Charleston White, saying he had been shot by three men outside Northwestern Memorial Hospital, located at 251 East Huron Street, Chicago. The call, recorded at 12:47 p.m. on Sunday, prompted the dispatch of emergency teams. Within two minutes, responders arrived at the scene, but no victim was found.

Was It A Different Charleston White?
Following the initial report, social media users quickly speculated that the victim might be the well-known Fort Worth anti-violence activist and comedian Charleston White. Messages of concern and prayers for his recovery began to circulate online. However, one user suggested that the individual involved could be a different person with the same name, residing in Chicago.
“There’s a Charleston White who lives in Chicago. It’s a different Charleston. Just a crazy coincidence,” he claimed on X
