As of today, October 22, 2024, over 600 schools in Bacolod City and Negros Occidental have also suspended face-to-face classes due to Tropical Storm Kristine. According to the Provincial Capitol, a total of 611 schools in Bacolod and across Negros Occidental have suspended in-person classes as a precaution against the storm.
