Liam Payne’s bereaved father has reportedly expressed to investigators his determination to uncover the truth behind his famous son’s untimely death.
As authorities dig deeper into the tragedy, Geoff Payne, who flew to Buenos Aires to expedite the return of his son’s remains, has met with a public prosecutor’s office representative today. During the discussion with Andres Esteban Madrea, he learned that the comprehensive autopsy is still pending, meaning he cannot transport his son back to the UK until further toxicology and tissue analyses are finalized.
A spokesperson for the public prosecution declared: “During the meeting with Mr Madrea, the musician’s father expressed his desire for an investigation and his wish to know what happened, and told the prosecutor that he was willing to testify about everything he knows about his son’s life that could help the probe.”

The official also noted: “The representative of the public prosecutor’s office informed the father that the toxicological and histopathological studies complementary to the autopsy have not yet been completed and that their results are necessary to decide on the release of the body
Yesterday, officials confirmed that the investigation into the death of a singer is still underway, with forensic tests ongoing and analysis of “mobile phones, computers, photographs and CCTV footage” in progress, noting: “They will require a longer period of analysis.”
Last week, it was reported that prosecutors had interviewed hotel staff and two women, identified as prostitutes, who were with Liam before his untimely death. Today, they stated that efforts to reconstruct the singer’s final hours are ongoing, involving “hotel workers, acquaintances, technical and medical professionals and other people linked to him through his work.”, reports
