
A large police cordon remains in place in Nottingham city centre this afternoon after a woman was struck and killed by a bus. Emergency services were called to Lower Parliament Street at 6.05am on Tuesday, October 22 following reports of a collision involving a bus and a pedestrian.
The woman, who was in her 30s, was treated at the scene but died a short time later, Nottinghamshire Police said. The road is closed in both directions with multiple police vehicles at the scene
