A man is dead following an early morning shooting at an apartment complex on San Antonio’s Northwest Side. Police are investigating the deadly shooting after a resident reported hearing multiple gunshots, according to preliminary information from the San Antonio Police Department
Police officers responded to a shooting in progress in the 5300 block of Fredericksburg Road around 4 a.m. Saturday, October 26. A person at the apartment complex reported hearing gunshots from a nearby apartment. Multiple rounds went through their apartment walls, but no injuries were reported, according to SAPD.
Officers arrived to the location and determined the gunshots came from an adjacent apartment. They entered the apartment and found a man, who appeared to be in his early 20’s, inside with a gunshot wound. The man, who has not been identified at this time, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to preliminary information
