
Two suspects are in custody after a person was shot Thursday at a trolley stop at San Diego State University, school officials said. Authorities are searching for a third suspect believed to be connected to the shooting.
The shooting occurred around 4:58 p.m. in the area of 5100 College Avenue, the San Diego Police Department confirmed
Authorities found a man with a gunshot wound at the trolley stop, which is located underground. The victim was taken to a hospital where his status is unknown, according to SDSU.
Around 5:44 p.m., one suspect was taken into custody.
Then at 6:25 p.m., a second suspect, identified as the suspected shooter, was arrested following an altercation at the trolley stop, according to the university. A weapon believed to be used in the shooting was recovered.
