On October 31, 2024, at 7:32 P.M., a shooting at Vancouver Mall in Washington left one dead and two critically injured. Vancouver Police and Clark County Sheriff’s Office quickly responded to the busy shopping center.
The incident began near the food court, with gunfire erupting suddenly. Shoppers fled in panic, some initially mistaking the sounds for Halloween effects.
Chief Jeff Mori stated, “Tonight, Vancouver faced a tragic act of violence at Vancouver Mall, resulting in the loss of one life and critical injuries to two individuals. Our thoughts are with the victims and their families.”
Sheriff John Horch added, “This senseless act of violence has shaken our community. We are committed to finding answers and ensuring justice for the victims and their loved ones.”
