A man was killed and two people hurt in a collision between two cars.
A grey BMW estate and a black Renault Clio were involved in a collision on the A34 Stone Road, near Stoke-on-Trent, at about 20:30 GMT on Saturday, Staffordshire Police said.
The 21-year-old BMW driver was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the BWM and the driver of the other car were taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Any witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage of the crash, which took place on the southbound side of the road between Trentham Gardens and the Monkey Forest island, should contact police.
