Horror as teenager dies in tractor tragedy as police launch investigation

Police have launched an investigation after a teenager was killed in a tractor accident.
Gardai and emergency services were alerted to a serious incident involving a tractor, which took place in Rinn, in the Oranmore area of Galway, Ireland at around 3.30pm on Saturday. A 19-year-old male passenger injured in the incident was rushed to hospital, but was pronounced dead a short time later. The road has reopened following a technical examination, and no other injuries were reported. The teen’s family are currently being supported by liaison officers, Gardai said.
